The Bible, in James 5.13-16, tells
to ask others to pray along with us for our miracle healing:
"Is anyone among you suffering?
Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful?
Let him sing psalms.
Is anyone among you sick? Let
him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the
name of the Lord.
And the prayer of faith will save
the sick, and the Lord will raise
him up.
Confess your trespasses to one
another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
The effective, fervent prayer of
a righteous man avails much."
When seeking a healing, ask for others' prayers during your time of need. In fact, the more prayers you can get the better. Ask your preacher, church members, your relatives, anyone else you can think of to pray for your healing. Anyone who believes in Jesus and God can pray for you. If you get 100 people praying for you, your longing for a healing miracle might get Jesus' and God's attention faster. Could there be better results from prayer in numbers?

There are also "healing ministers," such as Benny Hinn and Oral and Richard Roberts, whose prayers can go a long ways toward healing you. I went online and emailed both Benny Hinn and Oral Roberts and asked them both to pray for a total healing for me. Both responded and indicated I would be in their prayers.

To keep the hope of healing in my heart, I began to watch Richard Roberts' "The Hour of Healing" which you can view online at http://www.orm.cc at 8 p.m. CST each weekday night. This telecast originates from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I then watch Benny Hinn's "This is Your Day" show online at http://www.bennyhinn.org/default.cfm Both telecasts are so powerful in leading you to your miracle.

In addition, I searched "prayer groups" online and found that a number of churches had prayer groups who will pray for your needs, and some of them will continue to pray for you for a minimum of 30 days. I put in prayer requests with a number of them. I imagine I had over 100 people praying for my miracle healing at one time.

I also searched for "healing ministries" online and was astonished to find a number of people whom God has entrusted with His power to heal. I sent out prayer requests to each of them, believing in my heart that one or more of them would deliver the right message to God and Jesus that would make me whole.

During this time I totally read the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, reading from two to five chapters a day. It is important to hear the teachings of Jesus during this time, since Jesus continually was healing people with all kinds of diseases. And I continued to pray myself, in my closet, in my bedroom in private, to Jesus Christ for a miracle. I prayed and I prayed and I prayed.

I noticed within a few days that things were really beginning to change for the better in my life. I began to feel that Jesus and God were fully in my heart, I noticed I had more compassion for others than ever before, and I even began to pray for those that were against me. In short, I had Jesus and God in my heart like I had never known before.

When God and Jesus provide the healing, they provide the total package-- healing of your heart, soul and mind, healing of the body, healing of your financial condition, and anything else that ails you. When you begin to experience the healing of the heart, soul and mind, you know then that a healing of the body will be next.
